The Fabrication Process

At Augello’s Welding, we specialize in custom metal fabrication at the Lake of the Ozarks. If you can think it, we can build it. With over 16 years of welding and fabrication experience, we are your one-stop shop for all things metal, including but not limited to aluminum, stainless steel, brass, copper, castings, etc. If you have a cool metal project just waiting to be created, here are the steps we go through for metal fabrication.

1. Talk About Your Plans

This is the most important part of your custom fabricated project at the Lake of the Ozarks. We’ll talk about all of the details that make up your piece. While we work on customer fabricated items for the industrial field, we also specialize in small projects for personal use. We have a very wide range of fabrication capabilities and look forward to talking with you about your next piece.

2. Draw Them Up

While we may start with rough sketches, we can also provide additional markups with measurements. It’s important to us that the drawings come out exactly as you like because we want 100% satisfaction! After the drawing, it’s time to move on to the fun part!

3. Start Creating

Now it’s time to create your piece. We have done many different types of custom fabrication, and we specialize in structural steel, customs steel carvings, railings, stairs, custom ramps, pontoon, tritoon repair, stainless boat stairs, and more.

We’ve also done some unique pieces like aluminum gazebos, barn doors, boat cradles, fork extensions, water cooler stands, tree house parts, and more! We take extreme care in creating each piece to your exact specifications and needs.

4. Add Finishing Touches

Let’s talk about how you want to finish off your piece. Do you want to have it painted? Do you want the steel to show through? There are many options to help finish off your piece and make it look phenomenal.

When painting it, there are a few things you can do, spray paint will work, but it’s not as sturdy. If you’re going to be using any kind of wear and tear of your custom fabricated product from Sunrise Beach, powder coating is the answer. Have questions about where to take it next? I can help with that, too!

5. Ready for Pick-up!

Now that your custom fabricated item is complete, it’s time to pick it up. We hope you love it as much as we have loved creating it. Every one of our customers has challenged our skill with beautiful custom pieces, strong functional items, and more. We look forward to seeing what you bring us next!
